Dear Mr, Kumar,

Thanks for writing such a nice article about the jewish connection with India. Most Indians are not aware of this. I was myself surprised to meet many leading jewish personalities in New York who actually happen to come from South India.

The Jews of India
Historically, the Jews migrated to India, first the traders by sea carrying spices from Malabar Coast and settling down in Kochi where the Community still continues to live. Last week a Jewish marriage was held in the Syanagogue at Kochi after many years.
The second mass migration to India was when the Jewish diaspora was dispersed by the Roman occupation before and after Jesus, main migration being to Southern France-Florence and from there to different European Countries as Austria..etc. Jews with trade connections migrated to India, settling in Bombay and Calcutta.
India has been a refuge of all refus thrown out of their Countries, be it Armenians under inquisition and burning on stakes by Christian missionaries or Persians and Afghans under Islamic sword of conversions. Syrians had migrated earlier to Malabar when threatened by the Roman invaders and settled in Kerala.
There are two distinct ancient Jewish communities in India. The Cochin Jews of South India, and the Beni Israel of West India.

The Cochin community may reach back to Biblical times. The merchant ships of King Solomon reached ports of the East, returning with spices, precious stones and rare flora and fauna. The ancient contacts between the land of Israel and India are supported by the several Hebrew words, which are common to the Indian Sanskrit and Tamil languages. The Cochin Jews have a tradition that tens of thousands of Jews arrived there after the destruction of the Second Temple.

For centuries the Cochin Jews never lost contact with mainstream Judaism. Their location near the ports of South India provided opportunities for outside interaction with travelers and merchants from Europe and the Middle East.

Documents found in the Cairo Geniza - book depository - indicate that between the 10th and 12th centuries commercial ties existed between Cochin Jews and Mediterranean communities.

In 1948, the community of some 2,500 Cochin Jews left to Israel. Presently, less than 100 Jews remain, living a twilight existence near the only functioning synagogue.

The origins of the Beni Israel Jews of West India are somewhat obscure. According to their tradition, their ancestors arrived by sea from the north, becoming shipwrecked and established the community near Bombay. For centuries they lived in isolation, until the middle of the 18th century, when they were discovered by a Cochin Jew, David Rahabi.

The Beni Israel had maintained many vestiges of Jewish practices - Shabbat and Holidays, some laws of Kashrut, and the prayer Shema Yisrael. Although they are Indian in appearance, speak an Indian language, and have been influenced by the surrounding culture, they have nonetheless maintained a quite separate existence from the other Indian groups in the area. Today the Beni Israel are the only sizable Jewish group in India. Several thousand of them still live in and around Bombay, though most have immigrated to Israel.

The Shinlung - Bene Menashe
In the mountainous region which lies on both sides of the Indian-Burmese border dwells the Shinlung Tribe, or as they call themselves, the Bene Menashe - sons of the Tribe of Menashe. They believe themselves to be descendants of the exiled Tribes who traveled east. Their origin story is that from Central Asia they migrated to the Tibet region and then into southern China, dwelling in caves. From China they immigrated to the Burma-Indian highlands centered in Manipur and Mizaram, where they have lived for centuries.

Their collective memory is that they are of Israelite descent. Their religious practices are different from surrounding peoples. Their tradition includes many Biblical aspects such as levirate marriage (a brother marries his deceased brother's childless wife), agricultural tithes, incest prohibitions, burial rather than cremation, and celebrating three major annual festivals.

In the early 1900's English missionaries converted the Shinlung to Christianity. However, since the 1950's, following a revelation to Mela Chala - a local farmer and mystic - that the Shinlung were truly the lost biblical Tribe of Menashe and soon they would be gathered to their ancestral homeland, many have begun to reactivate their Jewish connection.

Although thousands of Shinlung acknowledge their tribal legend of Israelite descent, most remain in India living as Christians. Five thousand or so have made a full return to Judaism, observing Shabbat, Kashrut and circumcision. These Bene Menashe are deeply Zionistic, with a strong love for Israel and a desire to live in the "Promised Land."

In recent years, hundreds of these Asian-looking people have returned to Israel, undergone a full-halachic conversion and have been integrated into settlements throughout the country.

Sorry friend but your history seems fanciful. Which Jewish people came to India when expelled from Jerusalem and when? Do you have any historic records for that statement.

If sellling is a test of friendship, I can think of many other countries that would love to be your friends. Why, it is the most profitable business in the vorld.

For 2000 years, India has been a haven for the Jewish people. We welcomed them when they were expelled from Jerusalem, allowed them to live in peace, practice their religion and grow their communities and businesses. Today, Israelis and Israel are great supporters of India as tourists, investors and of course, as suppliers of military arms for India (over $2b US) per year. Let's remember who our real friends are and stand with them, as they have stood with us.

I stand proudly with Israel. A sister democracy. A bastion of freedom in the Middle East. And a friend of India.

Dear friends.
Whereas we all sympathies with the plight of the people being effected by this bombing of the Gaza strip by Israel. Palestinian People do not want peace with their neighbors and they fire rockets from their soil in to Israel and that is to the way to attain peace.
Where were they when the Muslim terrorists from Pakistan were killing the innocent people in Mumbai?.

Dear my Friends in all over the world,

As you may know today Israeli army drops over 100 tons of bombs on Gaza and more than 200 people are dead after that unprecedented wave of air strikes , I always love peace and friendship and true I live in my calm place in Iran and I am not a politician but as a human being and as an inhabitant of the earth I can't remain silent about these kinds of attacks and I strongly condemn Israeli deadly raids on Gaza

I personally believe Israeli attacks on Gaza trigger hatred in middle east and in the world

God bless you all

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND GOD BLESS!

it would appear south India taking the lead in supporting BJP!

BJP gets majority in Karnataka BANGALORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tuesday won five of the eight Karnataka assembly constituencies where by-elections had been held and realised its dream of ruling a southern state on its own. The Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) bagged three seats, while the other main opposition Congress drew a blank.
The BJP candidates won from Hukkeri, Arabhavi, Karwar, Devadurga, and Doddaballapur while the JD-S emerged victorious in Maddur, Madhugiri and Turuvekere.
With these wins, the BJP's strength in the 225-member state assembly has gone up to 115. It had won 110 seats in the May elections and formed its first government in Karnataka - and south India - with the help of six independents, five of whom were made cabinet ministers.
The support of the six independents takes the effective strength of the government in the assembly to 121.
The by-polls, held Saturday, were a prestige issue for the ruling party as seven of them were necessitated after three Congress and four JD-S legislators resigned from the assembly to join the BJP.
The eighth by-poll, in Maddur, was necessitated by the death of JD-S legislator M.S. Siddaraju.
While the Congress suffered a rout in the by-polls, JD-S retained not only Maddur and Madhugiri but wrested Turuvekere from the Congress.
BJP's Umesh Katti won from Hukkeri, Balachachandra Jarkiholi from Arabhavi, Anand Asnotikar from Karwar, Shivanagouda Nayak from Devadurg and J. Narasimhaswamy from Doddaballapur. Narasimhaswamy is the son of senior Congress leader and former union minister R.L. Jalappa.
Katti, Jarkiholi, Asnotikar and Nayak are cabinet ministers in the B.S. Yeddyurappa government. Katti, Jakiholi and Nayak crossed over to the BJP from JD-S and Asnotikar from the Congress.
The by-polls marked the successful entry of the fourth family member of former prime minister and JD-S president H. D. Deve Gowda into Karnataka politics. His daughter-in-law Anita Kumaraswamy, wife of former chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, won from Madhugiri.
Kumaraswamy and Anita will be the first husband-wife team in the Karnataka assembly.
Kalpana Siddaraju, widow of Siddaraju, won from Maddur in Mandya district and M.T. Krishnappa, also of JD-S, from Turuvekere.
M.D. Lakshminarayan, the BJP candidate in Turuvekere, suffered a heart attack after the results were announced and was admitted to a hospital in Bangalore.

I feel that Israelis are doing a good job by destroying and uprooting
the Jihadi warriors of Hamas which is one of the world's top most
terrorist groups - just like Lashkar-e Tayyeba, Jaish-e Mohammed,
etc. These barbaric groups, rooted in medieval ideology of jihad and
preaching hatred and killings, deserve that kind of treatment.

IS HISTORY GOING TO REPEAT ITSELF

Bharat J. Gajjar
bgajjar@comcast.net

Dear Editor,

Please print the following message in your publication.

Sincerely,

Bharat J. Gajjar

Is History Going To Repeat – I Hope Not

About a week ago I was watching the historical channel, it was about Christians in Germany. At that time 90% of Germany was Catholic then the Pope sent a message to the people of Germany that they should convert the remaining 10% of the people to Catholism then people went about forcing the 10% to convert and those who did not were killed and they burned their books. After that, 100% were Christian. Then at one point Hitler came and he didn’t like Jews and he wanted to clean out Germany again.

In Islamic countries they like to have 100% Islamic people. When Pakistan was separated, they had 20% of a Hindu population; they kicked them out or killed them, now they have 1% of a Hindu population. In Cashmere Hindus have already been converted to Islam and those remaining were killed or kicked out recently. In North East of India, Christians have taken over as they are 90% of the majority, and they are kicking out Hindus. They want 100% pure Christians. Pope Paul declared in Delhi by putting a cross into the ground with a statement, that in the 21st Century all Indian’s will be converted. At this time 10,000 missionaries are working in India with 1000’s of dollars in their hands. They want India to be a pure Christian nation. The way it is going within 100 or 200 years India could become a pure Christian nation. It looks like history may repeat itself as India is divided.

As one Saint says a garden is beautiful when there are a lot of different kinds of flowers with different colors. If a garden has only one type of flower of the same color it will not be beautiful. Hinduism is the oldest civilization at this time. It has a lot of inner strength with a great philosophy while other Abrahamic philsophies don’t match the Hindu Philosophy. Anyway the time has come for India to wake up and stop this aggression from the Muslims and Christians in India.

ANY COMMENTS PLEASE:

Pundit Nehru, writing about John Stuart Mill in Glimpses of World History, makes this observation: "John Stuart Mill is best known as the chief "utilitarian." As its name suggests, it gaining philosophy was utility or usefulness. Mill was in India and he served the East India Company for some seventeen years. Informed with the historicist ideals of the Scottish Enlightenment, which laid out a series of stages by which the degree of civilization of any society could be measured with 'scientific' precision, Mill set himself the task of ascertaining India's 'true state' in the 'scale of civilization'. After scrutinizing India's arts, manufactures, literature, religion and laws, he concluded vigorously that Indians did not possess, and never had possessed, 'a high state of civilization.' They were rather a 'rude' people who had made 'but a few of the earlier steps in the progress of civilization.' There existed in India, he wrote, a 'hideous state of society', inferior even to that of the European feudal age. Bound down to despotism and to a system of priestcraft, built upon the most enormous and tormenting superstition that ever harassed and degraded any portion of mankind,' the Indians had become 'the most enslaved portion of human race.' I am not surprised at Mill's statement. The British began their conquest of India from Calcutta, where they established the East India Company — a business venture that was destined to rule India for almost 250 years. The India they saw was an India plundered and pillaged by the Mughals for about four hundred years. When the Britishers returned to England, they depicted India as a barbaric, uncivilized country filled with polytheism, mythology, and idolatry. The scene they painted portrayed India as a country of primitive worshipers bowed down before a ghastly statue of some god or goddess. To them this represented one of the most hideous examples of human degradation, one of those horrors of ignorance which the British had long left behind. The British summed up India as a hodgepodge of heathenistic superstition. They felt nothing of value could be gained from the "primitive Hindus." To murder an unwarranted daughter, to burn a widow alive, to throw a female child into the river among crocodiles or sharks – these were things that to the British seemed wicked. There was also human sacrifice in different parts of India. The Khond tribe in Orissa kept the victims of human sacrifice in comfort, as men keep and fatten pigs. The man selected for sacrifice was called the Meriah. The Meriah was well treated and well fed; but sooner or later, to end a drought, famine, disease, he would be sacrificed. There was the rope sacrifice in the central Himachel Pradesh. The Todas of the Nilgiris and the Banjaras drove herds of cattle over children half buried in the sand. In Burma, which was also under the British, a living child was taken round the village and a finger cut off at each house before the victim was at last killed by repeated stabs. At Tanjore a male child was sacrificed in the Saiva temple every Friday evening until the British rule forbade it. In Bastar in 1830 the Raja sacrificed twenty-five men together at one time. In Bengal, the widow was usually tied to the corpse, often already putrid; men stood by with sticks to push her back in case she escaped. A widow could hope for no pity from her own people. There is a case reported to the British when a woman escaped from the pyre in the dark of a rainy night and hid herself among some brushwood. But they found her. Her son dragged her out in spite of her pleading tied her hand and foot and threw her back into the flames. Wellesley was advised that prohibition of suttee would cause a mutiny in the native army. Senior citizens are given today many privileges as recommended by WHO of the United Nations. But the British found many old men and women were brought to the banks of the Ganges to die without any medical care. If they did not quickly die, muddy, filthy and contaminated Ganges water would be ladled into the sick mouth and if that failed by stuffing nose and mouth with Ganges mud. Another evil patronized by Hinduism was the strangling of innocent travelers by Thugs. The killing was done by a handkerchief, a square of cloth, in one corner of which was knotted a silver coin consecrated to Kali. The Thugs believed that they were carrying out a divine mission and that as a reward a heaven of their own would be reserved for them. One Thug told Meadows Taylor that he had personally murdered 719 people and that he would no doubt have reached a thousand if the government had not caught him. Bentinck gave orders which ended Thuggery. There were also other shocking evil customs. Women were not allowed to cover their breasts. Young Nair girls had to sleep with Brahmins first before they were given in marriage to their legitimate husbands and this was called sambandham ceremony. Lower caste people were not allowed to live in tiled houses. They should not wear slippers, gold or silver ornaments, they should not use umbrellas and should stand a furlong away from Brahmins. No wonder this Indian society was described by the British as: "as a barbaric, uncivilized country filled with polytheism, mythology, and idolatry." Vivekanada who addressed the Parliament of Religions did not highlight idolatry, female infanticide, suttee, caste cruelty and deception in Hinduism.

WHICH GURU TO FOLLOW

Evidently, Satya Sai Baba has some divine powers and his followers get
help from him wherever they are. Similarly, there are other Gurus,
like Darshan Singhji, Self Realization Fellowship guru Lahiri Mahashya
and Swami yoganandji, who are no more, but they still appear to help
their followers and believers. There are several others who also
help. But I wonder if one does the bhajan of the RAM NAAM, SITA RAM,
RADHEY KRISHN, i.e. whoever their ISHT DEV be, in his or her time of
need, would God also not help them directly and effectively. Moreover
most of the time we are asking for worldly help which is only
temporary; the main purpose of life being moksha or returning to God
from where we came in which case one should put up with whatever comes
his/her way in this earthly existence gladly and thank God for it and
keep working to attain God as best as one can, unless one wishes to
continue in the rebirth cycle endlessly for better or worse, same as
in the past lives.

PRESENT DAY ISLAM - FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Date: Dec 3, 2008 2:48 PM
Attachments: A German View of Islam.docx

A German's View on Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. M y family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide.

It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave.

It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor- kill.

It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.

It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China 's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And, who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our posers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, worldwide, read this and think about it, and send it on - before it's too late.

GANDHI'S EXPERIMENTS WITH CELIBABY OR SEX

VJAYJI,

WHAT IS THE USE OF MUD SLINGING NOW WHEN BOTH NEHRU AND GANDHI GOT
AWAY WITH MURDER AT THE COST OF STUPID HINDUS? mOST OF THE EDUCATED
PEOPLE KNOW THAT gANDHI WAS A LECHER AND HE DESTROYED THE LIVES OF HIS
GRAND NIECES BY USING THEM AS HIS STICK AND MORE. HE ALSO SLEPT NAKED
WITH sUCHETA kRIPLANI IN nOAKHALI, ETC.
THE CHEATING AND FUTURE BREAKING UP OF india goes ON UNABATED BECAUSE
MOST OF THE HINDUS, EVEN EDUCATED ONES, OR I SHOULD SAY ESPECIALLY THE
EDUCATED ONES DO NOT CARE FOR THE RELIGION. THIS APPEARS TO BE A
FACT; AND THERE APPEARS TO BE NOT MUCH WHICH ONE CAN DO UNDER THE
PRESENT AND FUTURE CIRCUMSTANCES.

I STILL BELIEVE GODMADE THE MUSLIM RELIGION AND IF HE WISHES TO HELP
THE HINDUS, ONLY HE CAN BRING ABOUT A REVOLUTION AND CHANGE AND SAVE
INDIA FROM COMPLETE BREAKUP AND ANNIHILATION OF HINDUS. PLEASE READ
THE ARTICLE QUOTED IN MY BLOG ON MUGLIS

I also believe that not even a leaf moves without God's wish and whatever is happening is according to God's plan, if he wants to make India Moslem or remain a Hindu nation.

RAM RAM AND JAI VEER HANUMAN.

Pakistani Americans elated over Mumbai massacre, spew extreme hatred
more here more here: www.islamicterrorism.wordpress.com

source: online forum

Dear xx sb,
Obviously Daniel Pipes is an extreme Muslim basher who is trying his
best to harm Muslims.

Yet, let me tell you that just a few days ago in a gathering of mostly
Pakistani Muslims I heard some of the worst denial about the direct
involvement of Pakistani Muslim terrorists in the Mumbai massacre.
Those people also spewed the worst hatred trowards Jews and Hindus to
me. While condemning terrorism per se they also indirectly provided
alibi and rationale for the Mumbai massacre. They said point blank to
me that Jews and Hindus are the worst enemies of Muslims who have been
killing and oppressing them for long time so the killing of Hindus and
Jews in Mumbai was just poetic justice. They told me that in India
Muslims are constantly oppressed and treated like slaves by Hindus so
why am I feeling sad at their killing in Mumbai. They said Jews are
massacring Muslims so why am I sad that some Jews were killed in
Mumbai.

They told me that America is trying its best to get Pakistani Muslims
humiliated at the hands of Hindus, whereas these are the people who
have hurt Muslims so much for so long. All of them are very well
educated and professional people. I was shocked that they had so much
venon against Jews and Hindus, and they were drawing some satisfaction
from the killing of Jews and Hindus in Mumbai.

In fact these Pakistani Muslims asked me that among Hindus I should
defend Pakistan against the false American/Indian charges of harboring
terrorists in their country.

In the American Muslim political scene Pakistanis are dominant. Now
you can imagine how their strong bias against Jews and Hindus hurts
the efforts of the American-Muslim community in trying to get into
mainsatream US political secene.

Unraveling the Sufis of India: Villains in the Guise of Saints
by Ibrahim Lone

http://www.islam- watch.org/ Ibrahim.Lone/ Sufis-of- India-Villains- in-the-Guise- of-Saints. htm

India Has always was a land of diversity. Secularism and peaceful
co-existence is not a concept in this land, it is a way of life. The
credit goes to the understanding of our great Vedic ancestors (I count
Hinduism as practiced today as not Vedic in spirit or essence) who were
men of great letters and a mighty spirit. Christianity reached the
Indian shores much before it reached Europe. There are Christians, know
as Syrian Christians, whose links with the Christian doctrine far
outdates that of any other country outside the Middle East. Jews,
Zoroastrians, Bahai's all have found home and safe refuge in this great
country.

However the only exception to these immigrants was the Muslim, who did
not come here to adapt himself to the local culture and live in peace
and harmony. He had only one aim, which was to subdue the native
populations and wave the flag through the length and breadth of this
once great Nation which extended from Dhaka in the East to Khyber in the
west.

Islam changed smeared the face of this country with a paint so
horrific that the colours still refuse to wither out. While there is no
denying the fact that Islam was spread in India mostly by the sword,
there is another aspect of Islamic proselytization, which is ignored.
This face is that of Sufism and the Sufis.

Most people in the India have been mislead into believing that the
Sufis mostly by their own soft-headed scholars, to cherish the fond
belief that the Sufis were spiritual seekers, and that unlike the
Mullahs, they loved Hindu religious lore and liked their Hindu
neighbors. The Chistiyya Sufis in particular have name chosen for such
fulsome praise. The orthodox among the Muslims protest that the Sufis
are being slandered. But the gullible Hindus remain convinced that they
themselves know better. Professor Aziz Ahmad, a renowned scholar of
Islam in India, clinched this matter in the following words: "In Indian
sufism anti-Hindu polemics started with Muinal-din Chisti. Early sufis
in Punjab and early Chistis devoted themselves to the task of conversion
on a large scale. Missionary activity slowed down under Nizam al-din
Auliya, not because of any new concept of eclecticism, but because he
held that the Hindus were generally excluded from grace and could not be
easily converted to Islam unless they had the opportunity to be in the
company of the Muslim saints for considerable time." In other words the
native Hindus were as a nation, not fitting to become Muslims. This is
the sort of hatred that the Sufis had for the Hindus.

Of course, the Auliya who lived in a sprawling mansion and received
rich gifts out of plunder was convinced that he himself was such a
Muslim saint. His temper and teachings can be known easily from the
writings of Amir Khusru, the poet, and Ziauddin Barani, the historian.
Both of them were leading disciples of the Auliya. Both of them express
intense hatred for Hindus, and regret that the Hanafi school of Islamic
Law had come in the way of wiping out the "curse of infidelity"
completely from the face Hindustan (India).
A similar Sufi saint who died a mere 79 years before Waliullah's birth,
was Ahmad Sirhindi (1564-1624). He was always foaming at the mouth
against Akbar's policy of peace with the Hindus. He proclaimed himself
the Mujaddid-i-alf- i-sdni, (renovator of the second millennium of
Islam). Besides writing several books, he addressed many letters to
several powerful courtiers in the reign of Akbar and Jahangir. His
Maktiibctt-i- Imdm Rabbant have been collected and published in three
volumes. According to Professor S.A.A. Rizvi, "Sharia can be fostered
through the sword' was the slogan he raised for his contemporaries.

Let us see a few specimens of his writings in which he expressed the
love for the Indian infidels: "The honour of Islam lies in insulting
kufr and kafirs. One who respects the kafirs dishonours the Muslims. The
real purpose of levying jiziya on them is to humiliate them to such an
extent that they may not be able to dress well and to live in grandeur.
They should constantly remain terrified and trembling. It is intended to
hold them under contempt and to uphold the honour and might of Islam."
In Letter No. 81, he said: "Cow-sacrifice in India is the noblest of
Islamic practices. The kafirs may probably agree to pay jiziya but they
shall never concede to cow-sacrifice. " After Guru Mun Deva had been
tortured and done to death by Jahangir, he wrote in letter No. 193 that
"the execution of the accursed kafir of Gobindwal is an important
achievement and is the cause of the great defeat of the Hindus."

Sirhindi ranks with Shah Waliullah as one of the topmost sufis and
theologians of Islam. Referring to his role, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad
(Former Preident of Post Colonial India) has written in his Tazkirah
that "but for these letters Muslim nobles would not have stood by Islam
and but for the efforts of Shaikh Ahmad, Akbar's heterodoxy would have
superseded Islam in India."'Later on, when K.A. Nizami published a
collection of Shah Walilullah's letters addressed to various Muslim
notables, including Ahmad Shah Abdali, he dedicated it to Maulana Azad.
The Maulana wrote back, "I am extremely happy that you have earned the
merit of publishing these letters. I pray from the core of my heart that
Allah may bless you with the felicity of publishing many books of a
similar kind." That should give us a measure not only of 'Muslim
Revivalism' but also of many Maulanas who masqueraded as ardent
nationalists in order to fight the battle for Islam from within the
Indian National Congress.

It is strange that most of the present-day Muslim scholars refuse to
cite the actual statements made about Hindus and Hinduism by their
heroes such as Ahmad Sirhindi and Shah Waliullah while praising them to
the skies as saviours of Islam in India. Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and
Allama lqbal were shining examples of this intriguing silence. The late
Professor Ishtiaq Husain Qureshi published two significant books on the
history of Islam in India - Ulema in Politics (1972), and The Muslim
Community of the Indo-Pakistan Subcontinent (1977). He has devoted many
pages to Ahmad Sirhindi and Shah Waliullah in both the books. But he has
not cited a single sentence written or spoken by the 'great sufis' on
how they looked at Hindus and Hinduism. I have no doubt that Nizami has
also suppressed those letters of Shah Waliullah in which the latter has
poured out his heart about kufr and the kafirs. It is only Professor
S.A.A Rizvi who has taken us into the secret chambers so to say.
Professor Rizvi is a Shia. And the venom which characters like Ahmad
Sirhindi have poured on Hindus and Hinduism is quite comparable to that
which they poured out on Shi'as and Shi'ism.

Professor Rizvi has cited select passages from the original Persian of
Ahmad Sirhindi's letters. It is only recently that the letters have
become available in Urdu translation. Ahmad Sirhindi wrote to many
Muslim notables in the reign of Akbar and Jahangir. Some of these
letters were in strong protest against Akbar's liberal, equitable
policies vis-à-vis Hindus. One of Sirhindi's patrons was Abdul Rahim
Khan-i-Khanan whom many Hindus cherish as a Hindi poet and a devotee of
Krishna. It is unfortunate that quite a few recipients of these letters
cannot be identified straight away because they are addressed by their
titles and not by their names. As the letters are not dated, it is
difficult to say whether the bearer of a particular title belonged to
the reign of Akbar or Jahangir. The same title was given to several
persons in succession. I reproduce below some passages from these
significant letters in order to show how the mind of this great sufi
functioned. He was the leading light of the Naqshbandi sufi silsila, and
the foremost disciple of Khwaja Baqi Billah who brought this silsila to
India in the reign of Akbar. I may add that the Prophet appeared quite
frequently to both Baqi Billah and Ahmad Sirhindi in their dreams or
states of trance, and gave guidance to them.

Some of his statements translated from the original Urdu script have
been reproduced below:

"It is said that the Sharia prospers under the "shadow of the sword"
(al-Shara' tahat al-sait). And the glory of the holy Sharia depends on
the kings of Islam."

"Islam and infidelity (kufr) contradict one another. To establish the
one means eradicating the other, the coming together of these
contradictories being impossible. Therefore, Allah has commanded his
Prophet to wage war (jihad) against the infidels, and be harsh with
them. The glory is Islam consists in the humiliation and degradation of
infidels and infidelity. He, who honours the infidels, insults Islam.
Honouring (the infidels) does not mean that they are accorded dignity,
and made to sit in high places. It means allowing them to be in our
company, to sit with them, and talk to them. They should be kept away
like dogs. If there is some worldly purpose or work which depends upon
them, and cannot be served without their help, they may be contacted
while keeping in mind all the time that they are not worthy of respect.
The best course according to Islam is that they should not be contacted
even for worldly purposes. Allah has proclaimed in his Holy Word (Quran)
that they are his and his Prophet's enemies. And mixing with these
enemies of Allah and his Prophet or showing affection for them, is one
of the greatest crimes."

"The abolition of jizyah in Hindustan is a result of friendship, which
(Hindus) have acquired with the rulers of this land... What right had
the rulers to stop exacting jizyah? Allah himself has commended
imposition of jizyah for their (infidels) humiliation and degradation.
What is required is their disgrace, and the prestige and power of
Muslims. The slaughter of non-Muslims means gain for Islam. To consult
them (the kafirs) and then act according to their advice means honouring
the enemies (of Islam), which is strictly forbidden."

"The prayer (goodwill) of these enemies of Islam is false and
fruitless. It should never be called for because it can only add to
their numbers. If the infidels pray, they will surely seek the
intercession of their idols, which is taking things too far. A wise man
has said that unless you become a dewanah (crazy) you cannot attain
Islam. The state of this mania means going beyond considerations of
profit and loss. Whatever one gains in the service of Islam should
suffice..."

"Ram and Krishan whom Hindus worship are insignificant creatures, and
have been begotten by their parents... Ram could not protect his wife
whom Ravan took away by force. How can he help others? It is thousands
of times shameful that some people should think of Ram and Krishan as
rulers of all the worlds. To think that Ram and Rahman are the same, is
extremely foolish. The creator and the creature can never be one... The
controller of the Cosmos was never called Ram and Krishan before, the
latter were born. What has happened after their birth that they have
come to be equated with Allah, and the worship of Ram and Krishan is
described as the worship of Allah? May Allah save us!"

"Our prophets who number one hundred and twenty four thousand have
encouraged the created ones to worship the Creator. The gods of the
Hindus (on the other hand) have encouraged the people to worship them
(the gods) instead. They are themselves misguided, and are leading
others astray. See, how the (two) ways are different!"

"Before that kafir (Guru Arjun Dev) was executed, this recluse
(meaning himself) had seen in a dream that the reigning king had smashed
the skull of idolatry. Indeed, he was a great idolater, and the leader
of the idolaters, and the chief of unbelievers. May Allah blast him! The
Holy Prophet who is the ruler of religion as well as the world, has
cursed the idolaters as follows in some of his prayers - "O Allah,
demean their society, create divisions in their ranks, destroy their
homes, and get at them like the mighty one."

"It is required by religion (Islam) that jihad should be waged against
the unbelievers, and that they should be dealt with harshly. It is
obligatory on Muslims to acquaint the king of Islam with the evil
customs of false religions. Maybe the king has no knowledge of these
evil customs. Some Ulama of Islam should come forward, and proclaim the
evils present in their (unbelievers' ) ways... It will be no excuse or,
the Day of Judgment that they did not proclaim the tenets of the Sharia
because they were not called upon (to do so)."

"Therefore, it is necessary that infidelity should be cursed in order
to serve the faith (Islam). Cursing unbelief in the heart is the lesser
way. The greater way is to curse it in the heart as well as with the
body. In short, cursing means to nourish enmity towards enemies of the
true faith, whether that enmity is harboured in the heart when there is
fear of injury from them (infidels), or it is harboured in the heart as
well as served with the body when there is no fear of injury from them.
In the opinion of this recluse, there is no greater way to obtain the
blessings of Allah than to curse the enemies of the faith (be impatient
with them). For Allah himself harbours enmity towards the infidels and
infidelity.. ."

"Once I went to visit a sick man who was close to death. When I
meditated on him, I saw that his heart was layered with darkness. I
intended to remove those darkness. But he was not yet ready for it...
When I meditated more deeply, I discovered that that darkness had
gathered due to his friendship with the infidels. They could not be
dispersed easily. He had to suffer torments of hell before he could get
purged of them."

"Every person cherishes some longing in his heart. The only longing
which this recluse (meaning himself) cherishes is that the enemies of
Allah and his Prophet should be roughed up. The accursed ones should be
humiliated, and their false gods disgraced and defiled. I know that
Allah likes and loves no other act more than this. That is why I have
been encouraging you again and again to act in this way. Now that you
have yourself arrived at that place, and have been appointed to defile
and insult that dirty spot and its inhabitants, I feel grateful for this
grace (from Allah). There are many who go to this place for pilgrimage.
Allah in his kindness has not inflicted this punishment on us. After
giving thanks to Allah, you should do your best to ruin that place and
their false gods ... whether the idols are carved or uncarved. Let us
hope that you will not act slow. Physical weakness and severity of the
cold weather, comes in my way. Otherwise, I would have presented myself,
and helped you in doing the job. I would have liked to participate in
the ceremony and mutilate the stones."

This is short history of the love that Sufis has for the native Indians.
With the advent of Wahabism in India more and more Muslims are
abandoning the practice of going to the tombs of these Sufis and
offering Fatiha to them. However the funding to these shrines continues
as Hindus visit these tombs. In fact many of these tombs in India get
more Hindu visitors than Muslim visitors.
Needless to say large amounts of money are dolled out by the gullible
non believers at these tombs.
What exactly this money goes on to fund is anybody's guess. However all
I can say here is that : Viva Hindus keep it up!

CAN ANYONE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:

Babu Suseelan has once again exposed his ignorance when he speaks about servility in other religions. Although he uses high sounding words borrowed from other English books to display his knowledge (?), but those words have no relevance to the point at issue.. Sanatana dharma which is an eternal moral code has created fears of pollution which gave birth to the dreadful outcaste group called “Utouchable.” Sanatana dharma separated these untouchables from twice-born Hindus and were given the menial work of sweeping, caring for cremation grounds, disposal of carcasses, leatherwork and blacksmith work. Even today thousands of Bhangis continue to remove human excreta, daily carrying it away on their heads. Sanatana dharma’s another creation is ‘unseeable’ similar to untouchable. Brahmins interpreted it as ‘pollution of sight.’ Namboodiri Brahmins avoided even the distant sight of untouchables. So these hapless human creatures created by sanatana dharma were forced to wear warning bells, like cows and dogs, so that at first sight Brahmins might shield their eyes to avoid ‘pollution of sight.’ But Christianization of Hindu society has liberated millions of untouchables and unseeables from the shackles of sanatana dharma.
The laws of karma and samsara have remained axiomatic to Hindu religophilosophic thought from the days of the Vedas. An untouchable will be relieved of his karma only by rebirth. Karma requires expiation which means rebirth. Till rebirth is achieved an untouchable has to do his allotted work sincerely–scavenging, disposal of carcass etc’, Sanatana dharma binds the Hindu to perfect his karma by the assiduous, diligent and careful fulfillment of his duties within and towards the caste to which he has been born. Since sanatana daharma is an eternal code, millions of the forefathers of Ambedkar, Narayanan and Balakrishnan, to cite few examples, would have suffered for centuries performing their karma of cleaning latrines, disposing of carcasses etc., The falsehood and stupidity of sanatana dharma was fully exposed when Ambedkar became Law Minister, Narayanan became the President of India and Balakrishnan became the Chief Justice of India in this birth itself. Even orthodox Brahmins could not occupy these high posts. It is crystal clear now that without sansara (rebirth or reincarnation) an untouchable or unseeable can become President in this birth itself without waiting for rebirth. So the very pedestal of Hindu religiophilosophic thought of sanatana dharma is smashed when an untouchable gains the status of a Brahmin in this birth itself. That is the marvel of Christianization of oppressive Hindu society.. This marvel also exposes the lunacy and idiocy of the eternal moral code (sanatana dharma) of Hinduism.

Radhe Krishna To all,

Excerpts from a discourse by our Sri Sri Muralidhara Swamiji

We pass through many births and to obtain human birth is rare indeed. It is rare still to be born a normal human being without any physical or mental defect.

But, we waste this birth without using it for the purpose it is meant for. We may think, "In this janma I have not seen Bhagavaan; I have not done japa, dhyana, yoga or even a 'punya kaarya' but I will try to all these in my next birth! But, this cannot be.

When we go to sleep at night and wake up the next morning we are the same personality that we were when we went to bed. Our quality, good and bad does not change during sleep. Sleep is only 'mano laya' (the mind rests). In sleep the 'manas' rests and the 'vasanas' are just lying low. They have not been destroyed. In the morning when the 'manas' wakes up all the 'vasanas' come up again.

Similarly, death is only a long sleep and it does not change the person's 'gunaas' (qualities).

Death is akin to sleep and birth is akin to waking up.

Sleep is for a night and death is a long sleep in another world for some years.

When Bhagavan decides a janma to be the very last one, the man attains a Sadguru.

TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH THE MOSLEM S FOR OTHER RELIGIONS:

Nareshji,

RAM RAM

If it is being suggested accordingly to the following RSS statement
that Hindus be more accommodative, then when they have not been? But
the Moslem religion is based on domination and conversions and not on
cooperation and living peacefully with others, The more they will get
the more they will push. Thanks to the other worldly (parlok
sudharo, bhai; it does not matter whatever happens here as it is all
mithya (false and fleeting) teachings of the Hindu religion and Hindus
main interest being to make money and be prosperous and never to fight
for the religion, especially in the present times. So, if the present
regime wins the next election, India may become a moslem country soon.
The moslem religion started from the desert and has spread like wild
fire engulfing the world and India cannot save itself from becoming a
Moslem country, particularly as the Hindu religion professes
non-violence etc. etc. and Hindus have no guts to fight, especially
the mlechchas and the opportunist Hindus who are working together and
enjoying the best of life since Indian independence.
